If anyone out there loves doom in its most extreme form, buy this album immediately. Booming doom and pounding drums with swirling, psychedelic lead guitar, keyboards, and maniacal vocals. The sound a black hole would make if it dropped acid. The best album to get if you are unacquainted with Esoteric, who could very well be considered the “ultimate” doom band. A triumph of songwriting that produces music heavier than anything, yet filled with some of the best, most mournful melodies ever heard.
